Sunday 25th January invited just over 7 000 cyclists to the Expo Centre, for the flattest and fastest race on the Gauteng Cycling Calander, better known as the Fast One sponsored by Pick n Pay & The Star. The Expo Centre provided the perfect starting point and cyclists proceeded to the North –West University, Vaal Triangle Campus, Vaderbijlpark. The Race was a great success and thanks to the expertise of Tanjent Events a sister to Hartford Sports Promotions (HSP).Jenni Green managing member of Tanjent Events said the following on the event, “It has become imperative that well organized, and safe events are put together for our cyclists to compete in. The Fast One is now a well known event, which we believe will become renowned for its safety and superior organization. Look out for The Fast One in 2010!” 
The Expo Centre is engaging in a relationship with the Zorgvliet hospitality group, which has a portfolio of high quality wines as well as five leisure destinations. The developing relationship between the Expo Centre and Zorgvliet will embrace the world class service offered by both organizations as well as create a quality experience for all clients. Mac van der Merwe, CEO of the Zorgvliet group, said, “Forming an alliance with the Expo Centre will communicate these special experiences to the clients and patrons of the Expo Centre.
